Roberto Durán founded GKM Consulting in 2006.
Prior to that, he worked for 3 years as Manager in EY (Ernst&Young), leading relevant projects in the financial consulting field, such as cost accounting design, financial statements conversion and consolidation or internal processes optimization, for companies such as General Motors, Vodafone, Telefónica, Havas Media, Ericsson, CAT, ALCOA, Codere, BUPA, Hispasat and other.
He also worked for Deloitte (former Arthur Andersen) between 1999 and 2004, performing financial audit and other related projects (merger and acquisitions, bankruptcies, Stock Exchange reports…) for more than 60 companies belonging to all economic sectors of activity (Bosch, Alcatel, Avanzit, Seur, Iveco…).
Mr. Durán is fluent in English and has a Business Administration degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an Executive MBA granted by EAE Business School, amongst other programs to keep himself always up-to-date.
In 2017 he was awarded with the "Golden Star to the Professional Excellence", a prize given to prominent professionals with a philosophy focused on the excellence of the services provided.
In 2018 he was awarded with the "Golden Medal of Working Merit" in recognition of his entrepeneurial and working career.
